The Freeride 4.0 sail offers a good planning start and an excellent control/speed ratio. The Freeride 4.0 is stable and performs well and is light on manoeuvres.
MONOFILM SAIL BY FRENCH DESIGNER TEIVA SAILS
The Nautix Freeride 4.0 rig comes with a sail specially designed by Nautix:
- X-Ply 100 micron grid monofilm sail in 4 battens with specific leech reinforcements, X-Ply 150 micron trim and PVC window
- Colour: red
The X-Ply monofilm fabric saves weight and guarantees a longer life.
Our sails are designed in France by the windsurf design specialist TEIVA SAILS. A close collaboration between Teiva and the Nautix R&D team allows a modern design while preserving the Nautix commitment to quality.
SPECIFIC REINFORCEMENTS TO GUARANTEE THE DURABILITY OF YOUR SAIL
The Freeride 4.0 has 4 fibreglass battens equipped with tips to protect them from chafing. The battens are adjusted with screws. The head of the sail is adjustable. The bottom of the sail has an integrated protection. The boom is marked for easy adjustment.
RECOMMANDATION FREERIDE 4.0
Easy to rig, the Nautix Freeride 4.0 rig is designed for versatile use. It is recommended for medium to strong winds and wave/freeride riding. The Nautix Freeride 4.0 rig gives you a wide range of use.

The Freeride Pro range equips your rig with premium material. The mast and boom differ for a superior range: C60 carbon mast and Nx Wave monobloc aluminium boom.
MONOBLOC ALUMINIUM BOOM MADE IN EUROPE
The Freeride 4.0 rig is delivered with a Nautix Nx School vario boom 135-185cm diameter 28mm aluminium boom or in Freeride Pro 4.0 version with a Nx Wave 140-190cm diameter 28mm one piece aluminium boom.
Lightweight and easy to handle, our Nautix boom is made of anodised and corrosion resistant aluminium, covered with a comfortable and resistant Fungrip sheath. Nautix manufactures all its aluminium booms in Europe.
CARBON MAST
The rig includes a 3.70m 2-piece RDM C30 carbon mast or a 3.70m 2-piece RDM C60 carbon mast for the Freeride Pro version.
The Nautix carbon masts are made with Pre-preg technology and offer good responsiveness and performance.
CARE AND ADVICE
We deliver the Freeride 4.0 rig in a sail cover.
To keep your Freeride 4.0 rig for as long as possible, Nautix recommends rinsing it with fresh water after each windsurfing session.
To store it, find a place where it won’t get banged around or exposed to unnecessary sunlight.
